Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India has launched the e-Shram Portal for unorganized workers. Through this portal, workers can register themselves and download their e-Shram Card which contains a unique 12-digit UAN (Universal Account Number). This card serves as a digital identity for unorganized workers and provides access to various social security schemes.
All registered workers can download their e-Shram Card PDF from the official portal eshram.gov.in by logging in with their UAN or Aadhaar Number. The card is valid for lifetime and can be used for availing government schemes.

🪪 What is e-Shram Card?
e-Shram Card is a digital identity card issued by the Ministry of Labour & Employment to unorganized workers in India. It contains a unique 12-digit Universal Account Number (UAN) which is portable across the country. This card helps workers avail benefits of various government schemes such as:

- ✅ Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY)
- ✅ Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY)

✅ Who Can Get e-Shram Card?
- ✅ Unorganized Workers – Workers not covered under organized sector
- ✅ Age: 16 to 59 Years
- ✅ Occupation: Construction workers, Migrant workers, Street vendors, Domestic workers, Agricultural workers, Gig workers, etc.
- ✅ Aadhaar Card: Must have a valid Aadhaar number
📥 How To Download e-Shram Card PDF?
You can download your e-Shram Card in two ways:
Option 1: Download By UAN Number
- ✅ Visit the official e-Shram registration portal: register.eshram.gov.in
- ✅ Click on "Login By UAN" option.
- ✅ Enter your 12-digit UAN Number.
- ✅ Enter your Date of Birth.
- ✅ Enter the Captcha Code and click on Login.
- ✅ Your e-Shram Card will appear on the screen.
- ✅ Click on Download PDF button to save the card.
Option 2: Download By Aadhaar Number
- ✅ Visit the official e-Shram registration portal: register.eshram.gov.in
- ✅ Click on "Login By Aadhaar" option.
- ✅ Enter your Aadhaar Number.
- ✅ Enter the Captcha Code and click on Send OTP.
- ✅ Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
- ✅ Your e-Shram Card will appear on the screen.
- ✅ Click on Download PDF button to save the card.
🔍 Don't Know Your UAN? – Know Your UAN Number
If you have forgotten your UAN Number, you can retrieve it easily:
- ✅ Visit the "Know Your UAN" page: register.eshram.gov.in
- ✅ Enter your Aadhaar Number.
- ✅ Enter the Captcha Code and click on Search.
- ✅ Your UAN Number will be displayed on the screen.
- ✅ Use this UAN Number to download your e-Shram Card.
